Rashid Mian Anwar born in 12 April 1910 was an Indian freestyle sport wrestler who contended in the 1936 Summer Olympics. In 1936 he contended in the Freestyle welterweight competition. At the 1934 Empire Games(Now know as commonwealth games) he won the bronze medal in the freestyle welterweight class. He was the first person who won the medal for india in commonwealth games.He passed on at 73 years old in Camden, Greater London in 1983.
